I've actually had it with Southern Comfort and a little nutmeg. Pretty tasty.

In the KS home, bourbon is the only thing to put in egg nog.

Nog is a polarizing beverage. People either love it or hate it, there's no in between. I would pour the stuff on my breakfast cereal if my wife would let me.
