Herring is in his third season with the Razorbacks after stops at Oklahoma State, Auburn, Texas Christian, Clemson, the NFLÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Houston Texans and North Carolina State. A Dallas Morning News story recently suggested Herring would become the new defensive coordinator at Texas A&M, though he denied the report.

He isnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t ready to make any definitive statements about his plans for next year, though he seems to hint his days as a Razorback may be numbered.

we did not wait this long and put together $10M+ for Herring. If so, I will lead the revolt in demand for Steve-O's head.

Why is everyone so down on getting another assistant for a HC? We must keep in mind that we went 1-11 and that this program has been in shambles. We're not going to get a WOW hire just because we're SMU and have lots of money. It takes more than big bills to get a great coach.
