"I always get contacted every year by people, but it would have to be a special situation for me to leave," Jones said. "I'll never say never, but it would have to be a special situation."

We are WAY more special than Atlanta. Mostly, especially awful. Plus he already coached Atlanta from 1991-1996. And call me completely insane, and it is, but Jerry Glanville is a dear friend of his. And he did send SMU the game ball after his win against Pardee. Now that is thin.

Glanville, not Jones, sent the game ball to Coach Gregg.
Maybe that's what you meant and I misread it.
Plus, wouldn't Glanville boost attendance by leaving tickets for Elvis?

Yep, I meant Glanville in saying that. And that's why I called it very thin.

The stub has to be torn, so Elvis would actually have to show up. Of course it would always be fun to hear the PA guy annouce at the end of the game "Elvis has left the Stadium".
