Question for current or past football players

Are the football players required to return to campus earlier than other students in order to keep up with their weight training regiment or some other reason?

The reason I ask of course is the supposed statement by Orsini that he would announce his hire after the team returns from Christmas break. Unless that date is earlier than the rest of the student body, that is not good...or he never made that statement.

We were never expected to return early from Christmas. Summer was the ony time that we were expected to be there doing anything and then of course we reported before the other students got to school.

with no coach or staff, the players haven't been instructed to come back early from winter break

some players would come back early for recruiting purposes... no meetings until school was officially started up
