If these people hate everything at SMU so much, why are they here?

These people make me ashamed to go to SMU. I almost wish I went to A&M, at least they know how to have pride there.

Tissue? Who cares, people are upset...our team is bad, end of story. All you guys do is pout about other people's postings on ESPN.com...you get any other school in the country to have an 0-9 record and see how many postings would be on that site...a S**T LOAD...stop crying, "these people" don't hate everything about SMU, they're just voicing their opinions on our completely wretched football team.

No, they're gutless. Improvement and change comes from constructive criticism using the proper channels. Show some respect and maybe just an ounce of loyalty.

I think those guys should support the team more...but guys...We haven't won a game yet. For every team(except maybe Oklahoma), there are people that are always going to see the glass half-empty. Especially when we haven't won a game. I think people are fed up and sick of it. I am not condoning what they are doing, but they have a reason for doing it and I think some people are just fed up....

Bergermeister you sound like a 2nd grade teacher....constructive criticism? I would hope that SMU football players don't read this message board if that's what you're implying???

Like I said before, we all know that the team is bad. But it is completely unacceptable to write
"La Tech fans you are in for a show this week in Ruston when our mid-season all-american, or chump if you wanna be a lil more accurate pays you a visit. No Rashun Woods sightings in the state of Louisiana lately, but our Mustang cornerbacks, Jonas Rutledge in particular may just make some of your receivers look like Heisman candidates."
Jonas has been one of our best players this year. I believe he is tied for 3rd on the team in touchdowns scored. Sure, he's had bad games. I'd like to see you defend Rashaun Woods though.

Bell and Bragman make me wish California would hurry up and fall into the ocean.

We all can agree jonas is having a great year on special teams, but are any of you willing to claim that he is performing at the cornerback position? :hmm:

You guys need to relax. We haven't won a game and have been blown out in a bunch of them...I don't agree with it, but they have every right to get on that board and say whatever it is they want...

Jonas has been having a decent year. Rashaun Woods was covered on about 4 of his 7 touchdowns and should have been called for offensive interference on at least two. Woods is just that good that he caught balls despite good coverage. Fields threaded the needle, too. Baylor sure didn't score on Jonas. Fresno had trouble. Have some cheese with that whine.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Although I love the "have some cheese with that whine" line- its out of context, who are you directing it at? The folks that are on your side about this debate are the ones that are whining.

Anyone else know who many tds Rashaun had besides the game against SMU? FOUR!!! Oh and about those offensive pass interferences that were not called, lets talk about the blatant defensive ones by Jonas that both were called and were ignored as well. Our secondary couldn't stop Woods even when commiting penalties, I would have loved to have seen how many he would have put up if he stayed in the whole game and Jonas actually laid off of him...

Except that you Tbell are whining because there are those that don't agree with insulting their Alma Mater in a national forum, and had the gall to say that they didn't agree with those who did! So just as you and your cronies felt it necessary to voice your opinion about how bad our team was and how we should get rid of 70 year old traditions, those who disagree with you are doing the same. Maybe the problem you have with it is that those opposing you didn't make their case on ESPN.com....would that make it ok?
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
