I apologize in advance for the nitpicking but it's HIPAA. Somewhat of a pet peeve. Kind of like tortoruous vs. tortious.

You're forgiven in light of your new avatar.

As an aside, the athletic dept can make up for a lot of this year's missteps by returning to those unis.

They would be my personal favorite. Although I dont care if we wore pink and green and were sponsored by Taco Cabana if we were going 10-2 every year.

Not sure who decides whats "better".
Personally I think sunshine is "better" than darkness.

My position is more logical
They are "shooting in the dark".....
Making assumptions about Orsini when
they know very little of the complete story.

The one thing that I know about you without question is that you like the sunshine better. I am sure you can put a positive spin on our 0-12 season if you put your mind to it.

As far as making assumptions about Orsini without knowing the complete story, how again is that not exactly what you are doing?? Are you criticizing yourself too?

I'm waiting for an answer here and all you can do is continue to criticize others for their ideas?

If Copeland was still here, I might lean toward the doom & gloomers, three wisemen etc..... but thank Doak he is not here. If you read Steve Orsini's resume, he is a get it done guy. At UCF he raised 270 million dollars for a new football stadium, basketball arena, and other new facilities. And he hired George O'Leary that lead them to 10 wins and a CUSA Championship this year. Here at SMU Steve has.........

Hired Matt Doherty.
Built a 13 million dollar basketball facility.
Million dollar scoreboard for Moody.
New floor at Moody.
With more renovations being planned.
Created 2 new positions for recruiting only.
Created 2 new strength coaches positions for football.
Created a new position for a team nutritionist.
Increased football marketing by $775,000.
In three weeks raised 10-12 million dollars for a new coach.
Not bad for only 18 months on the job!

I'm in sales and marketing, so it's in my nature to see the glass "half full", but that's each person's choice in life. There are a large number of folks on this board that know me, and know my wife. Those folks can understand why I'm an advocate of, ask the prettiest girl first........sometimes she say's yes!

Well, when you are trying to argue with the "all-knowing" media who gets off on cynicism and criticism and doesn't carry an optimism gene in his/her body toward anything in life.

They simply get off on other people's failure. I really no longer care what bigbagofnothing posts. Regardless of who comes on board, he will will shoot enough holes in it to have his own block of swiss cheese.

It's really sick when people like him have that kind of outlook on life.

Whatever Sergeant Schultz - I actually have a very optimistic outlook on life. My outlook on SMU is demonstrated by the past 20 years of - well you know.
