Can't believe Rice's Dickie Moegle's 265 yards stood for 54 years. Still, an all-time classic football highlight when that Alabama player came off the bench and tackled him on that sure-TD run the officials gave to him anyway.

Interesting that Moegle's record was broken the same year Mack Brown's step son bolted the UT bench to recover an Arizona State fumble.
