I think he know where this is going and it is Steve-O sitting by himself at the Pike house going to town on himself.
Terrible analogy.
I disagree, A.

Orsini has focused on the right guy. Let's see if he bags his quarry.
Oh by the way, Orsini wouldn't be caught dead as a member of a stinking dumb sh*t frat house, not now and certainly not during his undergrad career.
Life is too short. Don't hate and drop the anti-greek sentiment. There are too many good members and people to even list. Drop it.

You are right. Let's get Bennett back. That worked out well. Of course he is shooting for the stars. And we should be thankful that we finally have an AD who wants to change things. Grab a drink and relax.[/quote]
I can appreciate Orsini wanting to get a big name coach, we have interviewed some solid candidates. However, I think Steve made an error in judgement in believing money would win out on the top coaching candidates......all this and he really didn't have a backup plan.
Bower, Mason, others would all be great experienced coaches to have but I think Orisini set his sights a little too high thinking he could go after a hot commodities like JJ or Johnson and win-out on money alone. I also don't think he factored in the large amount of coaching changes/musical chairs.
It would be interesting to see the entire thoughts process/strategic plan to all of this when its finally over.

Exactly. God forbid this board should have a little fun.... I should have said the bar being Linebackers? (not sure where the Irish kids hang out these days) so Steve-O could relate.

Thank You EdP. Its good to see some of the old MM faithful here.
As you can see, there is lots of pent-up frustration on the board.... anywhere from not being in a fraternity to not getting any at home.....on top of the fact that we still don't have a head coach.
Steve-O is looking for love at Bonash when he should be at Denim and Dimaonds.

"I've said it was a negotiating ploy from DAY 1"
yes you have, but that does not address whether
June Jones would come to SMU?
because you strut your stuff in front of pretty girl trying to get
her attention does not mean that if the girl shows no interest
you may not walk out with a different girl
you still haven't fully answered the question
does June Jones actually have an interest in coming to SMU?

What are you saying that hasn't already been said for the last few weeks?? I don't get it.
My stock tip: You can always beat the market. Spyder's are for [deleted].
If you are a rich alum, put up your own money and get Spurrier.
Obviously you are not reading/listening, because money isn't the main driver here.....otherwise we would have already secured a number of coaches. A quality head coach is not going to come here when there isn't a level playing field.
You keeping playing the market with your $10K portfolio big-time and I will see you at the finish line. I've got more cars than you have friends. Do your homework, most people don't outperform the market.
