The sad thing is these last two drivesare two of the best drives I've seen/heard all year. I like the passing. Still think we should take a shot in the end zone wit 7 seconds left. Oh well, not a shutout anymore.
The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

Re: The sad thing is these last two drivesAnd not being shut out going into halftime is important. I don't want to hear that this was bad coaching decision.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Re: The sad thing is these last two drivesI like it too. I just sounds like everyone is waiting for SMU to screw it up...I like Phillips work so far. A few underthrown, off passes...but nothing that can't be worked out of him(I hope). While our Offense still isn't scoring, I would say our defense is the disapointment of this game.

Re: The sad thing is these last two drivesIndeed. Phillips is doing well, when you consider he's running for his life half the time. A few dropped balls. Defense is disappointing, but we haven't done well against a great passing QB all year, so, though it pains me to say it, its not a huge surprise.
Re: The sad thing is these last two drivesThat really shouldn't matter Knuckle. I agree that McCown should have been expected to throw well since we haven't seen this type of offense yet, but a good defense shows up to every game and plays well every game. A good defense doesn't necessarily have to limit a good QB from throwing a bunch of yards or a good RB from rushing a bunch...but it should stop them from scoring. It all goes back to the deep ball. We cannot stop it and I am sorry, I now believe that there is something wrong somewhere in our coaching ranks. Either the D-Coordinator or the d-backs coach needs to do something. This has been a consistent problem with and nothing has changed...

Re: The sad thing is these last two drivesAnd we're using a passing offense that works a little for us. I like the young receivers getting involved. All I want out of the second half of this game is a couple of touchdowns just so we know that we can score. Next week is our last real chance to win one.

Re: The sad thing is these last two drivesAnd I was all encouraged when Rich announced that Darrin Johnson got his first career start today. He and Kieschnick should not come off the field from the left side of the line. Ever. The right side of the line worries me more. I'm eager to see what Urbanus can do at RT next year, and based on what I've heard, Justin Boren might merit a shot at RG in spring ball. And some players have said Caleb Peveto might be really good, too. He even practiced a couple of days earlier this year with the first-team and second-team OLs, meaning (I guess) that the coaches were considering ripping off his redshirt.
