Those are good looking. I remember going to the 9-2-2000 game against Kansas and being psyched that they got rid of those god awful NY Jets / Arizona Cardinal hybrid unis and went to these.

These are the Pony Express but with a darker blue. They were great. I don't know why thy had to go to those dark helmets.

I agree, only pull out the red jerseys on special occassions. Make it a big deal like the ND greens or the Georgia black jerseys.

white helmet, blue fade strip (thin in front to thick in back), red pony, blue facemask, candy stripe mouthguard. Optional red or blue sunshade.

red jersey, blue numbers, white name on back, white "SMU" on front, white stripes on sleves to make "candy stripe" effect.

silver pants, with blue belt, red&blue stripes on side of pants, candy-stripe socks high over pants to knee, red shoes, white laces.

Take blue out of the school colors. Blue jerseys make me cringe and the blue 'stang we once had on white helmets was an abomination - of course, that was Forrest Gump's great contribution.
