reports are surfacing that Fran was all over town last night looking for SMU hats and shirts at area malls and all he saw was TCU, Texas State, Texas Tech, Austin College, North Texas, Texas, and Texas Tech.
So Coach Fran asked the clerk about "where is all the SMU stuff was?.....this is Dallas isn't it?"

What I wonder is if Martz has the capacity to be infected with the college spirit at his age? I do believe there are pro coaches who miss the excitement of the college scene.
Perhaps. We can never know until you bring him in for an interview......I happen to think that his offense and playcalling would kill here in a few years.
