I still love my team, I believe in a positive future, but as an exclamation point on how inept our offense is this year, not only did Chris Phillips become our #2 rusher after playing in his 2nd game last week, if I am not mistaken, D.D. Lee is now our 3rd leading rusher with 31 yards after today.

Funny you should mention those rushing stats. Coming out of spring ball and two-a-days, all I heard was that Fitzgerald was going to provide relief for Keylon this year. Obviously I mis-read that one. Assuming Massey is going to be "the man" next year, it will be interesting to see whether Fitz gets moved to safety. He played defense in H.S. and certainly has the size and speed I'd like to see back there. Get him back there this spring and let's see what we've got. Spring ball should be an interesting experiment this year.

I agree - the way Rich and Craig described the game, it sounded like our DBs got torched all day. If Fitz is as good an athlete as they say -- and he clearly has the size -- get him back there. I still think Harper and Nnabuife should start, but you need 4 or 5 legitimate safeties to play, especially in the pass-happy WAC.

Fitz cannot block and doesn't pick up blitzes, making him of limited value. At 6'2" Bennett is moving him back to DB next year.

Next years RBs are Foy Munlin and Richuel Massey.
