Post by Brewers47 »

The Southern Methodist University Mustangs remain the only team in College Football without a Head Coach. However, their efforts to attain a coach that can lead them back to a level of relevance have been frivolous.

That's a very interesting, though at times poorly written and, more egregiously, worded article.

The article seems positive - yes - but what the heck do they (does he) mean when they (he) says "their efforts to attain a coach that can lead them back to a level of relevance have been frivolous."

Frivolous??

Actually I think I might be able to change it, I have been posting news on that site, so I think I can edit other articles. It's fairly new site this is just a blog someone put up to show others what they will be able to do down the road

Gonna try and change it to tireless I guess, that certainly makes alot more sense

Edit:
FIXED!

Okay, but - uh - "have been tireless"? Tireless?

How about relentless. Relentless.... that's what you are looking for. Also if you can edit that site - "are" not "our". I mean no worries, I have found that I have made that same mistake in my screenplays. Screenplays that I have printed for crew and actors. Anyhow, the aricle quote -

The Mustangs our leaving no stone unturned as for the first time in recent memory it looks like they will do whatever it takes to put the program back on the map.

Again though, I like the article.

The Southern Methodist University Mustangs remain the only team in College Football without a Head Coach. However, their efforts to attain a coach that can lead them back to a level of relevance have been relentless.

Okay, I will admit it I wrote the article, and it does have many flaws but its just a blog. Thanks, though for the constructive criticism, any thing else you would like to add it will help in the future, as that was only my second article.

And also I have absolutely know idea what I meant by frivolous

Anyways Thanks Again for reading it.

Also, I am going to stick around till we get a new coach

Hahaha. Hey man no worries. Again, I liked the article. Sorry to call you out, bro.

Next time say "I have no idea what fool would write that!!!!" and then change it and come back and say "Looks like they have some editors there, hah! Cant't believe they would miss that."

Deflect the blame! Like the time when on one of my super low budget short film sets, um, oh, well something fell on something else that fell on a camera that caused about, uh, 10K worth of damages... my producer said to me, "here's a term you need to learn - mistakes were made and...."

I cannot tell you how many times sense then I have said, "Um, well, mistakes were made and...."
