Headline - Blame Game in Full Swing

Post by Treadway21 »

UH losing Jones is big time in Hawaii. It will get real ugly if and when he's gone...

"I think the fact that Herman Frazier didn't act on the commitment he made to the legislature in May and not jump on the opportunity to negotiate an extension on the contract has paid dearly not only for the program, but the entire state," said Takai, who was reached during dinner with Donovan in Los Angeles last night.

UH fans have been trying to get Frazier (UH AD) fired for a long time now. He just doesn't know how to tell the truth!

Included was a copy of his resignation letter that was sent to athletic director Herman Frazier, though Frazier said he had not received a copy.

So was it sent or was it not?

Yeah, that report is what I had been going with. But it conflicts with the Advertiser report which calls it the "letter that was sent to athletic director Herman Frazier."

Their AD kind of reminds me of Copeland.

I do not agree. I always felt that Copeland tried to do what was best with what he had, but his efforts and thoughts of what was best may have been awry. The Hawaii guy just seems to not care at all about the football program.

Copeland came down here and retired, but forgot to tell anyone. In my opinion, he did nothing to support football and basketball. He did not fight at all for his folks. Coaches say that.

95, it might be helpful if you could tell folks what happened with Riley Wallace, the successful and popular basketball coach, who's contract was not extended. Wasnt he basically forced out by Frazier?

I know Bob Nash has deep roots at Hawaii, but this year looks like it will be the first losing record for Hawaii, in the last 10 years.
