I have been able to confirm that June Jones is now scheduled to remain in Dallas until RETURNING to Hawaii on a DIRECT flight (AA #123, departing DFW at 11:40am, this tuesday morning. This revelation virtually elimantes any possibility that June may pass us over for an NFL job unless he wants to take one sight unseen.

I now expect that this deal will be done and announced before the BCS Championship game tomorrow, as we have all hoped.

I do feel bad for Hawaii since it sounds like Jones would have stayed had some of his concerns been addressed, and had they approached him a lot earlier with a new contract. But I do have to say that there loss is our gain, and I will be elated once this deal is officially done. Until then, I'll be holding my breath.
