What do you think the odds are that Fran is on his way to Dallas as a precaution that JJ does not sign. Surely he has been contacted about the possibility of getting to Dallas ASAP.
Hire JJ, Hire Fran, hell bring someone in. just get this mess over with

Fran wants to be here and has assistants with Texas recruiting experience ready to go.

Fran was just fired from his job at A&M where he was barely over .500 with TREMENDOUS resources. SMU could probably get Patterson a raise as well by going after him.

Again, his meeting with Orsini did not overly impress. He had an attitude of "if you want me, I'll coach for you".

Well, if Orsini had listened he would have a coach tonight.
