No, because Copeland never remotely sniffed the high calibur of coach that Orsini is going after. SMU could have had a coach the day after it fired Bennett if it had cold called all the high school coaches in Dallas. However, I don't think they would win many games that way.

That's what you want? One winning season every couple of decades? You don't think Doherty makes the future better for basketball?
