It's game over for SMU!
We might as well call our backup's backup's backup and see if we can still field a team for next year.
At least SMU bought some boosters a good steak tonight. I guess not all was lost on the process.

This whole scene is hard to believe!
When North Texas was in our HFC search, there were over 150 applications for the job. I cannot beleive the SO does not have a
bigger list of candidates. Gezz, $2 million a year! Wow!
Somebody has to be interested in that alone. So, why are not more names
being announced? Stealth interviewing? SO needs to be talking to the
SMU fans instead of keeping all his actions secreat.
I want SMU to fill the HFC job, with a good coach. This whole
scene has lasted way too long. The longer the search goes on, just seems
to point in one direction, SO.
I have a feeling maybe SO cannot get the job done. Since SO pulled
the plug on PB last October, I wonder if SO had any candidates available
at that time? You do not fire a employee with out having a plan in place
to fill the slot and keep the transition smooth for the company.
If this whole HFC search back fires, I think SO should be held accountable.

I'm okay with SO keeping this thing a "secreat", but not for 80 days... I mean, c'mon, 40 days at most...

When you're courting four women at the same time do you ask the reporters to come in and photograph you will all four women. Do you hold a press conference and say that these are the four women that you're dating. You keep things mysterious and close to the vest. Otherwise, they'll all dump you and move on.
