JJ loves the islands... all of this last ditch love will not land on deaf ears. And if he goes back, I can't fault him. And I can't fault SO, we need someone with passion.
If we lose on JJ due to passion, well then it was worth it. Even if I can't say that I ever thought he was the best fit, but maybe I was wrong.
Seriously we need someone who wants to do this for all the right reasons, otherwise we'll aways be stuck.

Can anyone actually say they're surprised if he ended up staying on the Island? I mean really?

Nope.
I haven't really believed anything since PJ went to GT.

No use in getting hopes up...as they'll always come crashing down.

JJ played at UH and started his coaching career at UH. It was always a long-shot that he would leave for SMU, although I am not yet convinced he hasn't. The lack of commitment to the program by UH officials (facilities, support staff salaries, etc.), not his own salary, appears to be the motivating factor in his desire to leave.

JJ knew how much he loved the islands before he sat his a$Z in those AA plane seats last night. Either he used SMU or he is playing up the PR to save face with the Hawaiians before signing with SMU tomorrow.
It's pretty cut and dry. I don't for one second believe JJ is sitting in a luxury suite crying over his emails. That is BS!

Maybe he said he was leaving just to see how much people actually cared on the island? Shady thing to do but ya never know.

Prediction: we will have a coach by 5pm tomorrow. If it isn't JJ, it will be Coker.

Sorry about the bold underlined italics. Im just so tired of these successful, supposedly mature men acting like a bunch of confused women at a Neiman Marcus sale.

TBA: Women who go to a Neiman-Marcus sale don't get confused over anything because they have enough $$$ in their bank account to buy whatever they want.
This is more like the ones who go to a sale at JC Penney's.

Does this winning record make me look fat? Be honest.

Im not calling the ponyfans women. I'm speaking of JUNE and PAUL JOHNSON. Unable to make a decision and go with it. Primarily June and his stories of crying over email.
