After all this hype one would think it would be JJ. Why hold it at 3:00 if your going to announce a 2nd, 3rd choice which would possibly get some passing statement at the BCS game. Why announce to the country that the JJ deal fell apart. Seems more reasonable to wait till tomorrow if it's not JJ. So if it's been scheduled then someone has taken the offer. If we don't hear anything fromm JJ shortly, I guess it must be him.

If the Fran fallback deal was done, he can easily get to Dallas by 3pm -- it's just a three hour drive from College Station.

Agreed...They wouldn't have someone sitting idle...The second coach wouldn't put themselves in that position...I also think SO has proved he works with high business character...

I'll plan on taking the girls unless I hear Jones is out. I'm not sure I could handle attending a PC for Fran.

To me this doesnt make sense if it is not JJ. We are announcing to the country we are falling back to actually a 3rd choice because the first 2 said no. If it's someone other than JJ wait till tomorrow. But none of this has really made sense. Would expect a statement from JJ before the PC if he goes back to Hawaii.

Maybe JJ will have two caps (SMU and UH) and put on the one where he's going, like some tools like Martellus Bennett.
