Any mention if the bar has been lowered on admission requirements for athletes and JUCO transfers?

Jones mentioned that the academic issues were addressed, but didn't get into more detail other than that.

He said it has been addressed and is similar to what he has worked with in the past. (No mention about transfers though.)

i may be imagining this, but didnt Turner mention the commitment to adjusting admissions to be competitive right at the beginning???

I think I read on another thread that as long as they met NCAA requirements and not SMU requirements, he could pursue them. I'm paraphrasing.

Would they make a statement that they lowered the standards? Seems like it would be something the Morning News would be all over in a negative way.
