First two guys both say June Jones couldn't take Hawaii any further. Skip Bayless says SMU got the money because there are very few schools with a wealthier and more rabid core of alums, but fears that the "monster" which led to the death penalty is being "recreated."

skip bayless is the worst analyst on espn. i am convinced he intentionally tries to make the worst arguments for every topic. that guy needs to go away.

Every UT and A&M fan I know freely admits that they pay their players. Clearly that's not the case here and won't be because we know the deep deep pain it can lead to.

This is the same line Bayless has used for years whenever he talks about SMU.

Whenever SMU has had any success over the years, he drags out the tired line that it could lead to another cheating scandal. He's a broken record.

And by the way, a core of rabid, wealthy alums wouldn't have put up with what we have for the last 20 years. I'd say SMU alums have been more patient than any group in the country.
