I have used Macintosh computers since 1990. I currently have three of them that I actively use plus an iPod Touch. I run Safari version 3.0.4 or later on all of them. But when I try to view the Press Conference video I get a message saying "Sorry you have to be using Safari version 2 to view this video". What gives. I just spent $1500 for a new Mac laptop running an Intel processor with Windows and Mac OS 10.4 and I can't view the video.
I'm not happy.

Green Bracelet
Is Coach Jones making a statement that SMU is "Going Green", or is that a Hawai'i Bracelet he's wearing in all his pictures? Great Hire, excited to see where we're headed.

Actually you need to retrograde to Safari 2.0, not Safari 3.0. One of my frustrations for a long time was getting CSTV to be more macintosh compliant (I'm a 1995 SMU grad and I was SID at Marquette for the last eight years before recently going to the real world).
The other thing you can do is use Parallels to run your Mac in a windows environment and use that way. I love CSTV's innovations and it was really easy to use as an SID, but they needed some help in realizing how many different people use the product. For a while, All Access wasn't mac compliant, nor could a windows user using anything but Internet Explorer view content. When IE upgraded, CSTV was behind the curve on that and slowly they caught up but still have Mac issues.
Don't fret the Mac, it's all CSTV. You'd think since they were owned by CBS, they'd be much better about technology, but what do you expect, I suppose.

Yay, Mac!!!!
Boo All Access...... it's the fact that your computer IS updated that's the problem. The All Access boneheads didn't think - oh a new OS and version of Safari is coming out, maybe we aught to update our software! (ya' think?)
