so should rowdy fans should avoid the Stadium Club?
I don't feel the outside stands are any rowdier. Either way, there is no problem with people getting rowdy in the club.
I have seen older and younger do some yelling up there. Bottom line, there has to be something to cheer / yell about.
If you are in the club, you can slide down to the outside seating anytime (assuming it is not sold out).
I prefer outdoor seating. Indoors is nice with the a/c, food and drinks, but the atmosphere is different. You can't hear the PA many times, there isn't crowd noise, etc. Plus, I'm cheap.

It should be a pretty favorable schedule with the harder teams at Ford Stadium and the "easier" ones on the road. However, UTEP is usually a challenge on the road.
9-6 vs Texas State - San Marcos
9-13 at Texas Tech
9-20 at Arkansas State
9-27 vs TCU
10-25 at Navy
TBA at UTEP
TBA at Tulane
TBA TULSA
TBA HOUSTON
TBA at Rice
TBA SOUTHERN MISS
TBA at UCF
TBA MEMPHIS
Stadium club is fine if you are 80 - otherwise you should sit down in the bowl.
Ideally they will make the glass operable so you can open up the stadium club and lose the mortuary feeling it has. I know the ac will be less effective and all those old women will complain they have to "glow" but this needs to happen pretty soon.

Gerald Ford's box has windows that open up for the atmosphere in Ford Stadium.

The table says that Stadium Club seats cost $500 + a $540 Mustang Club donation, so it looks to me like the prices are about the same if they were $1,000 last year. What am I missing?
My wife and I are considering getting a couple of tickets in the Stadium Club. What should we expect? I was at the first game at Ford Stadium when I was a student, but unfortunately I didn't attend any games after that. I was a huge football fan but the idea of watching us get our brains beat in was not appealing at the time. I for one can say that our buying tickets is a direct result of this hire.

You can expect to be sitting with mostly 'blue hairs' who have little concept of the gameday atmosphere because they're not sitting out where the 'action' is located. Seriously. If you're going to buy season tickets, buy 'em where the fun will be! And if you're going to drive over from Tyler, make sure you get to the campus in plenty of time to enjoy The Boulevard!

I think they were $1,000 + $540.

How do you join the Mustang Club? I went to the SMUMustangs.com site and clicked on the Get Involved - Mustang Club and then clicked on Join today and made my donation. Do I need to do anything else?
