Realistic Time Frame?

Postby SMU2007 » Wed Jan 09, 2008 12:18 am

What is a realistic time frame for when we might be "good" again? (Make a bowl game, maybe win C-USA)

I feel like everyone is hoping that we will at least make a bowl game next year. Is this realistic? Will we be disappointed if we go 6-6 next year and get one of the C-USA bowl spots that wasn't there when we were 6-6 two years ago? I'm hoping we are in the running to be in the conference championship game going into the last couple weeks. Thoughts?

Obviously we have some real question marks on the defensive side of the ball. These will only be exposed more with our offense getting on and off the field much faster with the run and shoot. That said, I think we have the talent to win 6 games next year with our schedule. IMHO
