CUSA opener tonight at UTEP

Postby George S. Patton » Wed Jan 09, 2008 9:41 am

8 p.m. on KAAM 770.

We've lost 8 in a row to UT-El Crapo -- I can say that with confidence because I was born there. We've lost 2 straight and the Miners have lost 2 straight. We're 6-7. UTEP is 9-4.

It's time for this group to show up and start putting 2 halves of basketball together. The non-conference showing was very disappointing. It's time to get going.

lots of empty seats in El Paso tonite. Are Miner fans down on their team or is it the non-excitement factor of SMU coming to town?

General, I grew up in E.P. also. Did you attend high school there? I went to Austin.
A few famous retired generals have been known to go to El Paso to fade away (e.g. Omar Bradley)
