Yeah and they all claim to be "the Original" famous ray's. Decent slice. They're not scared to put a lot of cheese on there. My favorite memory of Ray's is about 10 years ago I went into the one on 95th & 2nd. They had a large, professionally made red and white sign hanging with the Coca Cola logo on it, that read: "COCA COLA...ISN'T IT TASTE GREAT!" Stayed up for at least a year before they took it down.

KS - have you been to John's on Bleeker Street? I think that may be the best I've had in the city.

Sagno's was awesome. I really miss it.

Back in the day, Chelsea Corner had great pizza. Strong drinks, too.

Anyone tried Olivella's?

Don't you mean Shakey's?

And by the way, Landmark Pizza and Pipes was probably the worst pizza I've ever had.

yeah, olivellas is really good. when they first opened they didn't have their wine license, so it made for a good cheap date w/ the wife.

the charcoal/wood fired crust isn't very good to go, but eat there. a lot like coal vines
