I saw Mallett play in a 4A playoff game at Independence Stadium in Shereveport 2 years ago. He was pretty impressive with command of the team and execution of the offense.
I also have been travelling to Detroit and working on a project with a lot of Michigan Alum for the past 18 months. Needless to say he didn't take advantage of his opportunities at Michigan this year. He was cocky and pissed off some of the team. His transition to college ball at michigan was not ideal. Guess we'll see if he's learned anything.
Some reports in MI indicate his position coach and another coach he got close to at MI are top candidates to join UCLA staff - wouldn't be surprised to see him go there.

Or maybe you hang around with noncommittal, unreliable, dishonest, undependable people.

All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Mallete is kind of an interesting story. Grows in Springdale, AR but transfers to Texarkana to avoid sitting on the bench behind Mitch Mustain.
His Dad is hired by Texas High so even though he lives in AR he can go to T- High.
I really think he only wants to be a pro QB so I would look for him to go to a school that offers him the best opportunity at that goal.
SMU might be it.

Regarding MI, are these guys transferring because they don't want to or can't play in Rich Rodriguez's offense? Maybe similar to PJ's offense at Ga Tech. Their offenses have a lot of similarities. Stallion should be howling at this, of course, if you saw WVA's offense decimate Oklahoma's D, you'd be willing to take the losses
main reason stated for his transfer is that he wants to run a pro style offense and RRs quick attack spread O isn't near NFL standards. RM not a running qb so he doesn't want any part of that in Ann Arbor.

A Texas High School playoff game in Louisiana? I've never heard of that.
