I didn't get to see or listen to the game. What exactly happened that resulted in Doh's ejection from the game? It must have been really good, for him to look the way he does in the posted images. I just noticed it's the same refs we've been having trouble with all season.

I listened to game and the announcers for SMU said coach had to do something because someone was going to get hurt...They said bad knockdown fouls were made and not called while some little brushes were called as fouls...Utep lead our league in fouls per game but only had 7 near the game...The announcers were favorable to coach doing what he had to do...Go Mustangs!!!

If that's the case, I don't blame him at all. The officiating is atrocious and something had to be done.

Coach has to show his players that he is as competitive and into it as they are / he asks them to be.

When he sees his players get abused he has to stand up for them.

Doh has to create a bunker mentality, us against them, and get these guys playing hard, vicious team basketball. Then they might be able to hang with teams.
Play soft with SMU's talent and experience and you get absolutely drilled.

I see Doh's wearing glasses now. He should have pulled the move that got me a tech when I coached. I took my glasses off and offered them to the ref. The ref got the message, the crowd got a laugh at his expense, and my team knew I stood up for them without having a stroke. And the the ref knew that he could be called out without me cursing at him. I almost got a second technical when he made the unfortunate remark after giving me the tech, "if you think you can do a better job" to which I responded with a smile, "give me your whistle."
