Aloha SMU Fans!!!

Postby UH50 » Sun Jan 13, 2008 10:23 am

Aloha SMU Fans, I`m writing in to support you all. We here in Hawaii are all sad and disappointed that June left UH and the state of HI. You folks are getting a great coach that everyone loved. If anyone can turn your program around, I know he can. I`ll be rooting for you guys and wish you much success next season. May there be a bright light at the end of your tunnel! Underdogs rule!!! Go UH, Go SMU

Aloha!!!

Thanks. Many of us were rooting for the Warriors this year; always good to see a non-BCS school succeed, and good luck going forward.

Thanks for the comments. The Mustangs are hoping it doesn't take as long for the UH Warriors to find their Head Coach.

We hope your press conference is soon.

Good luck!

Gotta say that I am extremely surprised by how many Hawaii fans are supporting SMU and still supporting JJ. We're rooting for UH to get a great coach, and continue building on their recent success.

I echo those sentiments. Welcome aboard and thanks for the kind words.

SMU Fans, thank you for making me feel welcome on your boards. We in Hawaii may not know people that well but when there is the same common interest and understanding, we bond together and call it "Ohana" which means family even if we are not related. You guys are just about to turn the corner. You only lost a few games this year by a field goal. June will make the right adjustments in personnel and then watch your offense light it up!!!

I think JJ was a big (and good!) adjustment in personnel.

Thanks for the comment. Good point! On a side note, I know JW is a pretty good QB but he will need to prove to JJ that he can out work everyone else for the job. Graunke was our starter and believe it or not just as good as Brennan. He lost his start because Colt may have been more productive in practice. JJ 2 new recruits will give Willis competition.
