I may be wrong but I think it was the Cowboys had never lost as a #1 seed since 1990. Even so, if your statement is true, the Colts beat the Cowboys to the record.

The Colts were the #2 seed in the AFC. Remember, the Patriots were 16-0.
Also, the Cowboys had not won a playoff game in 11 years. Another statement they made during the game.

I got ya. I thought they were referring to "bye" teams rather than the actual #1 seed. Nevermind.

Kicking game lost this....gave up too many return yards....poor tackling....offside penalties were huge....and the defense giving up that TD at the end of the half hurt....

Yes, all cowboy fans should thank Jacque Reeves for the PF facemask penalty -- as the WR receiver was going out of bounds (if the radio call was correct) -- that pretty much put the giants in point blank range.

Romo's great when expectations are low.
He's not a clutch performer or natural leader amongst his teammates.
He's not a closer, including with celebrities.
Other than that, he has 30 million more guaranteed reasons to laugh than I will have tomorrow morning, so that has to count for something.

I think J Simpson was plenty open, and he's doing no closing.

Didn't Justin Rodgers get hit with a holding call on a return?

How's Romo going to react to the pictures of Jessica Simpson on her next tropical getaway ... with Eli Manning?

He can use any one of the millions of dollars from his new contract to wipe away his tears, or put several of them together to attract a new trophy girlfriend.

C'mon General, you're better than that.
I'm in agreement with the General.
Romo is a flash-in-the-pan doofus.
I don't remember Aikman, Staubach or Montana (all qbs Romo has been ridiculously compared with) ever failing so miserably in playoff games or being so completely caught up in their own celebrity.
