All we need to do is advertise down in Hispanic neighborhoods. Many of our players are hispanic, put them on a billboard down in those areas.

The MLS team for Dallas is way up in Frisco. SMU is much closer. I'd love to fill wescott with crazy drunk mexican dudes - they are much more fun than the current crop of fans that look at you as if you are crazy if you make any noise at all.

While our men's soccer team has quite a few players with latino surnames, I do not know how many of those actually have a Mexican heritage. In addition to Mexico, latino surnames could come from heritages anywhere in Central or South america, the Carribbean or Europe. Schellas has quite a melting pot on his teams. He also has some players from Hawaii. I believe FC Dallas has discovered that in order to attract Mexican heritage fans, you have to have some true Mexican heritage players. South and Central American players do not count It is a cultural thing. In any event, we should be marketing our soccer program to the hispanic community. Would be nice to fill up Westcott.

This thread's decline in to "we need a bunch of Mexicans to support our soccer team" had me crying I am laughing so hard. It may be borderline racist, but why let that get in the way of some good fun?

On a more serious note, I wondered if the Hispanic community still attends a lot of FC Dallas games now that they are in Frisco vs. being in the Cotton Bowl, closer to large Hispanic communities. Anyone know?

It would probably be a great idea to tap into that fan base for our soccer program, especially since they compete at a very high level year in and year out.

Do we have parking facilities to accommodate their trailers with the landscape equipment? (double-long instead of double-wide)
