Would you take a trade of Tony Romo for Jason Campbell straight up?

I don't think either team would do that. People within each organization sincerely feel they have the better QB.

And not to split hairs, mr. pony, but I don't think Romo really is caught up in his celebrity. Everyone else in town seems to think he walks on water, and that's fine - new QB, big contract, pop star girlfriend - but he's one of the most down-to-earth guys you'll ever meet, and he seems absolutely amused by the fascination the media and fans have with him. Only time I've ever seen him annoyed with it was when he gets asked about Jessica, or Carrie Underwood before that. But he's well aware that his talent (and therefore celebrity status) have afforded him some opportunities that most of us will never have, and he's enjoying them. Can't say I blame him.

I don't remember Aikman, Staubach or Montana (all qbs Romo has been ridiculously compared with) ever failing so miserably in playoff games or being so completely caught up in their own celebrity.

I don't think Romo is caught up in his celebrity. As far as dating celebrities, Aikman did it too. He dated Lorrie Morgan as well among others. The paparazzi is different these days. There are photos of all of these celebs everywhere they go. It wasn't like that in the early 90s.
