Yes, I heard the interview. Apparently, Briles was supposed to be the first interview but they couldn't reach him so JJ went first!

Even though the show is based on recruiting, most of the questions were about JJ making the job change, how he came to the decision, etc. JJ also talked about the offense he runs and how a number of his players (23-24 over nine seasons) moved on to the NFL. JJ used to be an assitant with both the Houston Gamblers and Houston Oilers, so he's familiar with the city and has a lot of friends here.

When JJ signed off, he said "Mahalo" instead of goodbye. Malatesta knew what it meant but McIlvoy had no idea!
