I'm disappointed with not being able to get him. I hope he does well with you all, but I predict that he too will find himself disappointed with the administration's talk and no action. What will be really interesting is whether he will really make the $1.1mm that they are promising. They did such a bang up job w/ JJ (half what was promised). Of course, now that the state is doing it, he will be the most highly paid state employee...wonder how that will go down in the employee union or the breakroom. Hmm.

And you are still an asswipe...you were a week or so ago...and you still are now...no matter how well Hawaii does or doesn't do.

Just a reminder. Before June Jones inherited that program, the great Bob Wagner had done his best to run it into the ground with an 18-game losing streak. There was talk of reducing the program to below DI status.

And know this, when you transition from the great head coach to the top loyal assistant, it DOES NOT guarantee success. In this day of football, offensive coaches make better head coaches than defensive coaches. That's a fact.
