Surprised no one saw this...Bert Hill (the unknown coach joining JJ) was a strength and conditioning coach at Miami and Detriot...

That's pretty dang cool to have a soon-to-be-former NFL strength coach on our staff. That will really help with recruiting.

"Son, I know how to get you into the pros, and we have the strength and conditioning coach that can help get you there."

Awesome.

I hope we can keep Vic. From some people on the board it seems like Vic was an Orsini hire so he may be kept.

I'm not sure. It's been mentioned elsewhere, and earlier, that Vic is paid through the athletic department and does not report directly to the head football coach, where it appears this hire is strictly for the football program.

That's correct, vic is department wide strength and cond., this is a football specific hire.

Not a forced smile. He just finished eating a bad pizza at Campisi's and has a lot of gas.

No such thing as a "bad pizza at Campisi's"...You've been eating Peruvian food too long...

Ok- I used to love Campisi's pizzas but they are not always perfect. Peruvian food is pretty good but I miss the great beef and TEXMEX food that was in Dallas and Houston.
