I think he's in line for the Atlanta Falcons job.
Said it before, but I think Dat Nguyen would be a great DC... Akina makes sense tho.

As long as Pete Carroll is at USC, KN Jr. isn't going anywhere. Not even to his alma mater.

Dat might have come here if PB was still at the helm, but his loyalty to the pony program came and left with Bennett.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Some of you guys really scare me at times. DAT NGUYEN as DC for SMU??? You have to be kidding right? Dat Nguyen has absolutely no coaching experience as far as I know but you want him to become the DC at SMU. Ruin a good HC hire by making DAT NGUYEN the DC as his first coaching gig. Wow.

This surprises you? This is the board where have the posters went on and on about how Bennett was a "nice guy" and that we should "give him one more year", or that we should hire a guy with extremely limited coaching experience as our new coach because he was a player for the Cowboys 30 years ago.

I saw Dat last night drinking it up at Javiers. He's a "football paying dude".

Ed Orgeron. While he did not fair so well as a head coach, he is a great recruiter and DC.

hell.. let's just get Buddy Ryan and watch him start fights on the sideline with all the other asst coaches. I've always gotten a kick out of that old bastard

Orgeron is a sensational recruiter. He would be a fantastic choice as our DC. Is he still looking for work?
Back off Warchild seriously.

StallionsModelT,
From my understanding Orgeron is still on the market. Somebody email JJ and ask him to at least interview him. If coach O could recruit 4 star athletes to go to Mississippi just think what he could do at SMU.
