that was the best atmosphere i have seen at a SMU sporting event in a long time
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

We need to make him the center of everything this year. He has his best games against the best teams we play...if we do that it takes the pressure off of everyone else and they can feed off that. Also, Mike Walker can shoot the 3.

Doh was [deleted] himself during his postgame interveiw. Said he should have called a timeout after Roberts hit the two free throws. He also said he should have put Papa in a position to score more in the second half. This team has tremendous energy and some very good freshman players. We have to be patient but it going to be very frustrating.

I really enjoyed Dia's play. Keep feeding him the rock.

IF only we had some supporters that could help him, IF only Roberts could be healthy and be consistent!

The non-TO call was atrocious...

Dia is very impressive indeed. And he still is raw and will add 10 lbs of muscle this off-season. This game, although crushing, was a good indication of the fight that they still have. Its not about W-L this season, but about heart, and this team showed some tonight.

Next year Tulsa won't get a win in Moody.

This team is already really fun. Cant wait till another Doh class gets in here, these guys get a bit older and we get some wins.

Dia is a stud - we have not had an inside guy like that in I don't know how long - over 10 years. Walker showed better, Harp is looking good on D and really distributes well. Malone has a nice shot and his game will improve. We have a couple red shirts plus next years group to add on next year - cant wait.

We lost, but I actually feel very good about the future after this game.

Only down side is still not enough students - if you are a student at SMU and not coming to the games you are missing out - and if you are a guy student and not coming to your schools basketball games you are officially a wimp.

Tonight was the first game I have seen live this year, and I really enjoyed every bit of the first 39 minutes and 53.3 seconds. It took me a while to get over the fact that we let Tulsa get in so close to take that last shot.

There is a lot to build on with this team. Papa is getting better every game. He plays with a lot of emotion, so it will be good to see him harness that as he matures and get to be even more of a beast in the paint. I thought Walker played well tonight, too. I think he was a great pickup for Doh.

Considering we are usually playing 2-4 freshman for the better part of our games, they will be able to build on that experience and I think they'll be even better by the end of the season. Hopefully they win these kinds of kinds in a matter of weeks.

The lack of student support is nothing new. I was actually impressed we had showings from two greek houses last night. If we could get half of the greeks on campus to show up it would make a huge difference.

Is not like it is a long walk from the houses over to Moody!

Our best game of the year.
No complaints. I liked how we got the ball down low to Papa & Bamba.
Got away from it 2 nd half but still alot of positives.

I hope to see this type of effort the rest of the year.

Thought it was our best game of the year, better than TCU.

Alright I was at the game, standing in a suit right behind the bench in the student section and yeah we had a lot of positives and we are a young team, but we lost that game. Tulsa did not win. I find it unacceptable for anyone to drive the length of the floor to lay the ball up at any point in time. Other negatives, once the ball enters the post our guards do not relocate to become open ultimately trapping our post players. We never got down the backside to box out on defense, which I learned to do in 7th grade, and for some reason every team seems to drill threes like it's their job against us.

John Killen is a game changer and could easily average twenty points a game, I hope he understands this and starts being more selfish. Papa Dia is going to be a big time player in years to come. Let's go out and win this next game

Greg,
I am a member of LXA and I want you to know that our house will be there every single game at least 30 minutes before the game. Student support at this school is pathetic and embarrassing, and I believe that the SMU Marketing Dept. has realized this. Every game will be sponsored by a certain sorority and fraternity, so hopefully that will attract more fans. But let it be known, at least 50 of the brothers and freshmen Lambda Chis will be at every home game.

Nice Harry, keep it up! Hopefully more students will realize it's "cool" to show up to games!!
