Why no Coach Doh next Monday

Caught the tail end of Coach Doh radio show and he mentioned that he would not be in Dallas next Monday night as he was on going to be on ABC ( network ? ) Said something about getting more pub for SMU and the basketball program. THats is why JJ is filling in for him. Anyone got further insight to why Doh will not be in Dallas next Monday ?

He has to be in New York next Monday. Malcom Farmer is going to fill in for him, and JJ will be there also.

I am guessing that if he said he will not be there bc he will be on ABC on Monday and someone just said he will be in New York, that it is safe to assume that he will be in New York on Monday bc that is where they are broadcasting the ABC show he will be appearing on. 
Seems like a pretty open and shut case to me.

He is filming some special for the NCAA tournament for ABC in New York. Milton Barnes will fill in to talk about basketball and June Jones will also be on the show.
