Among the leading candidates to become Saskatchewan's new field boss are Calgary Stampeders associate head coach/offensive co-ordinator George Cortez, St. Louis Rams quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier, Riders offensive co-ordinator Ken Miller and Tom Rossley, a former head coach at Southern Methodist University and offensive co-ordinator with the NFL's Green Bay Packers.

Cortez was our OC for a year or so when Rossley was around. Interesting connection. Also, thought Tom was named OC at TAMU?

I don't think I would apply there...noticed that today's weather includes a temperature of -14°C (7°F) and light snow.

Most of the CFL season is played in the summer, so it wouldn't be too bad. The team is alright too, they won the Grey Cup a couple months ago.

He'd replace Kent Austin who went to be the OC at Ole Miss.
