Many people refer to going to a bigger city as going "up there".

Not rated by Rivals. Jackson State offer. Also interested in LSU and Southern Miss. Stats:

Ht: 5-foot-5
Wt: 160 lbs
Forty: 4.4 secs
Bench max: 245 pounds
Squat max: 365 pounds
Vertical: 38 inches

Class: 2008

I feel the same way. It's no harder to say down yonder.

I'm not the one doubting the recruiting process nor a youngster before he even steps on campus. We have seen other kids come in without other offers and end up pretty good. I should just say, let's give him (and the coaches who believed in him) a chance before we turn our noses up at him. Yeah, the obvious is we are behind in recruiting but we talk as though we aren't. Either Rivals is real far behind (which I hope they are) or we are NOT doing too good.
