Many people refer to going to a bigger city as going "up there".

For example, I live here in good old DFW, and so does a friend of my wife's. She has told us before that she was going "up" to Houston this weekend, and I always have a puzzled look at my face when she says that.
I suggest she needs to turn the map around 180 degrees.

I feel the same way. It's no harder to say down yonder.

Going to Houston is going "down" from Dallas in more than just a cartographic sense.

I'm not the one doubting the recruiting process nor a youngster before he even steps on campus. We have seen other kids come in without other offers and end up pretty good. I should just say, let's give him (and the coaches who believed in him) a chance before we turn our noses up at him. Yeah, the obvious is we are behind in recruiting but we talk as though we aren't. Either Rivals is real far behind (which I hope they are) or we are NOT doing too good.

JJ would not be doing this if he did not see potential. I trust him. He knows what he needs.
