Weddle, a 2006 Consensus All-American and two-time MWC Defensive Player of the Year, became a second-round NFL draft pick of the San Diego Chargers.

Weddle's a monster in the secondary for the Chargers. He came in as a rookie and really fixed a position that had been crap on that team since the departure of Hot-Rod.

I attended the Utah vs San Diego State game in Weddle's senior season. He pretty much won that game for Utah single handed. The guy is a force. If your new db coach was responsible for molding Weddle into the type of player he is now, Colt Brenan's quote that you guys are going to be a terror applies not only to the offense, but the defense as well.

Speaking of defense- do we have a DC yet? I read on one of the forums here that JJ had filled all of the coaching positions except one. Guess he doesn't Stallion's phone number.

It will interesting to see what he does with Brian McCann, Derrius Bell and De'Von Bailey. He's got some interesting people back there.

I spoke to him late in the fall, and he said he planned on being ready to go.

Another guy who was fighting for time, on the DL, was Kyle DeGroat. Anyone know if his leg is fully healed and rehabbed? We can use as much help as possible along the DL.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Potential is nothing, performance is everything.
