Carmello can give as many tickets away as he wants to USC students and players. As long as he isn't tied to USC those rules do not apply. The guy who wrote that is an idiot.
That's the genius of it. Jim Boeheim is just using the system to gain every competitive advantage he can.

I must admit that a kid getting tickets from a pro athlete isn't a big deal. The only time it would be a big deal is if the kid receiving the tickets is on the NCAA hit list (i.e. non BSC school). This one goes absolutely nowhere.
