Lord knows I have cussed him in the past for all the turnovers and mental mistakes, so I would like to congratulate him on his HUGE game tonight and his whole game in general. He has become a very solid player this year and I say THANK YOU JON!

Great game, great win, and if you live in Dallas and aren't going to the games you are missing a good time.

Doh said in the postgame interview that JK was one of the best guards in the conference this year. Do not know if this is correct, but he really has been playing well recently.

Absolutely it's true. Killen - for all the crap he has taken on here - has been sensational, and it's about time we all give him his due. The man has played lights out.

In the two years I have been going to SMU games, this is the best game I have ever seen Killen played. He played with a passion never before seen, and stepped up as a senior leader. I told my friends standing next to me in the student section that for SMU to win the game, Killen would have to score 25+ points and we would have to keep the score below 65. Hell of a game Killen

Think maybe that coaching has anything to do with his improvement? Hmmm...

Just don't worry aboout that. I know Ike Ofuegbo was disappointed by his all-conference selection last year when Tubbs let it be known that he couldn't play.

JK was a beast last night. It's not often our guys hit 28. And he was deadly from downtown.

Way to go, Killen!

Killen

I totally agree with PK. I think coaching has everything to do with the development of not only Killen, but everyone else. Look at the difference from Papa from the beginning of the season to now. How about that scoring juggernaut Bamba Fall who has developed that awesome skyhook and "no call" shot off the glass (hehe). Doh and the staff are teaching and it will pay off sooner rather than later.

He's a late bloomer? Actually, Doh should get credit for Ofeugbu's transformation last year and Killen's this year. Another thing he has done is turn Ritter into a great screen setter and rebounder. I love watching players bounce off of him. With all of the sticks we have (except for Papa) he is playing a very important role on this team right now. Anybody see that coming?

NO - Killen keeps getting better. Doh has consistently praised him, even when he was not playing well. I as much as anyone was down on Killen, but he is now the team's scorer and is rewarding Doh's faith in him.

The team has played bad - and guys here have called out Doh, righfully so. Therefore, it is fitting he get some praise when he saw something in a player that we didn't see.

Killen has come a long way from his days as a freshman. His shot then was more or less a heave from the side of his head. Like a shot put. He obviously worked [deleted] improving his shooting style.

There may be players on the court with more skill. But, there are no players with more hustle and desire. He is also very much a leader on the team.
