Lurking Brooklynites: A big ole honkin pile of talent has been assembled for this raucous Monkees Tribute Night. The Knuckleheads will be performing our own version of "Gonna Buy Me a Dog," backed by the fabulous Demolition String Band.

Another "Texans traveling to NYC help request"

My brother and I will be in NYC in August for an extended sports weekend. With our schedule (listed below), what would be your suggestion for a hotel location?

Saturday 8/23 - arrive, Mets vs. Astros, 7:00p
Sunday 8/24 - possible tour of Yankee Stadium, Noon
Monday 8/25 - US Open Tennis all day
Tuesday 8/26 - day open, Yankees vs. Red Sox, 7:00p (yes, we do have tickets already)
Wednesday 8/27 - open and return that evening.

Thanks in advance.

Excellent advice raplh, that's exactly what I would have said. And I did not attend said Yale Club function, I learned my lesson the last time.

NY/NJ Mustangs,
Today is probably your last chance to book reservations for this show, as it is almost full. It is a ton of fun for anyone in the Jersey area, for several great causes! Call the number and book your reservation, a highly motivated Elk will be happy to assist you!

TO ALL OF THE NEW YORK MUSTANGS:

The Highland Park United Methodist Church Youth Choir is currently in NYC after spending a few days in Boston. They're on a concert tour. If you see any kids wearing HPUMC t-shirts around Manhattan, say 'hello'.

The HPUMC Youth Choir will be singing at Christ United Methodist Church at 520 Park Avenue
60th & 61st, New York, NY 10065 during morning services today (Sunday).

Knuckleheads made the NY Times today!

Guess we'd better get to work on that song that we haven't started, huh? :)
