Interesting that he also mentioned Portland State with the Jones tie-in with Glanville who's HC there (and might be coming to SMU?)
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Are we actively recruiting this guy? If not, why not? Seems like a good fit.

Hopefully he doesn't get back in touch with Boise St. after they've lost 2 DB's.

I know it has been brought up before but how many of these small guys are we gonna take? 5'8'' 157lbs...is tiny for a burner of a wideout nevermind a CB that has to cover a 6'2 or 6'3 WR

Article says 5'10 170 as opposed to his profile which says 5'8 157.
No one said we are taking him or are not taking. I am not prepared to judge or new coaching staff's recruiting ability, nor our loosened admissions policies, based on a crash course 3 week recruiting period which began after most of the desireable players had already committed. Mind you that there is still 1 week of that 3 week crash course left.

And don't forget the 6'8" receiver that plays for Memphis. Granted, he didn't do to much against us this year, and we'll only have to play them 1 more time before he graduates, but still, it looked very strange for our shorter DBs trying to guard him.

Hell, the guys we have now can't guard Jarett Dillard and he isn't even 5'10".

Is a 4.6 40 for a DB a little slow? I guess he has some good schools going after him.

Absolutely. Makes you think that since JJ didn't make it to the mainland very often that he had some nice ties to Cally (shorter plane trip for recruits, not as much of a time zone difference so the kid's family could see him play, blah blah, blah.)
