That's my story. They are all set very high here in Arkansas. I just subtract 50 lbs. from whatever they say. Then I am only obese rather than morbidly obese. :)

Go on the ponyfan diet... Every time you get hungry just post 10 times instead.

he spoke highly of Evan. Talked about his wrestling, and that wrestlers made for good linemen b/c of their balance. Said that when Evan came in for his visit he weighed 283 on Friday b/c of just finishing a wrestling event, and that he weighed 305 by the time he left on Sunday.

LOL, I think the scales at SMU and Servite High School differ.....Evan was very worried because he weighed so much at SMU and had the league finals coming up. When he got home he ran until he couldn't run any more and was two pounds under for the match. I'm still wondering if it could be possible for him to drop over 15 lbs in a couple days, I still think it's the scales

I think what the coach was saying was that he was 285 when he got into town and ate so much that he put it on really quick. guys his size can shed weight really quick when you cut carbs/sugars/sodium and drop water weight before a weigh-in. I remember my friends who were wrestlers only eating grapes and lettuce the week before weigh-in.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

I had the same impression PK had of Jones. This man knows what he wants and needs and what to do with it. Devoid of a lot of emotion, he obviously knows where he is going and how to get there. We have ourselves a Head Coach, at last!

I'm sure that's what Coach Jones meant...I was just having a little fun with the thread. You are absolutely right about the quick weight loss, many wrestlers have made themselves very ill cutting weight in an unhealthy manner. Evan is watched very closely by his coaches during his transition from football to wrestling. On the days he wrestles he doesn't eat prior to weigh in and then I rush a footlong Tuna Subway and bottle of Pedialite to school a few hours before the match. He's very in tune with his body and loves lifting and conditioning. I can't wait to see what your lifting coaches do with him.
