That could be, but in the NBA you have to trade value for value, meaning if the Mavs were to take Shaq's salary, we would have to send away 80% of shaq's salary in Mavs players to the Heat. So really it would only be at most an extra 8 million to Cuban...80% of 20 is 16...leaving 4 owed in salary and an extra 4 owed in luxury tax
It's the NBA. The league is a joke. Referees are on the take. Stars get all the calls. Coaches have no control over their players. Commissioner is skimming money off the top. Season is too long. Socialism-type playoff system.
WHO THE HELL CARES. The NBA is absolute crap. That's what I think about this trade. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING!!!
Thanks for stretching the page out with yet another of your lame [deleted] posts. No one wants your thread crap about your dislike for the NBA. I don't think the title read "What does General [deleted] think of Pro B-Ball?" did it? I think the trade makes sense for both teams. Miami is clearly rebuilding and they get a jump start. If they keep Marion next season they have some pretty good players plus a top draft pick also. How does a starting lineup of Derrick Rose, D-Wade, Marion, Haslem, a Center, with Dorrel Wright, Ricky Davis, D. Cook etc coming off the bench sound? Sounds like a contender in the East to me. This deal is good for the Suns too. They rid themselves of a locker room cancer and ad a Center who also will be a leader. They dumped a bad contract in Marcus Banks too, along with Marion, and picked up a short term large contract that could put them over the top. Think how much better they will match up against the Lakers big line-up of Bynum, Gasol, Odom. They now have Shaq, Amare, and Diaw. And Mustang Laxer is right about Shaq not having to lead on the break. He is a Center. He will get the board and start the break becoming a trailor and the safety net to reset the offense should the break ne pulled back out. I think this deal will end up working out well for the Suns too.
Thanks Icon. You are right on all accounts, the trade and General [deleted].
Glad that it irritated you. If you kept your mouth shut, maybe I would have fixed it. The fact that you even commented on the NBA reveals equal lameness in posts. Why don't u and laxer go to the gym and pump each other.
Think Kevin Love. Look at what he does with the outlet pass. Having watched Shaq since I was a kid, I can tell you he is a good enough passer to get the break going just like they do in UCLA.
