BLVD PARKING PRICES GO UP AGAIN!Moderators: PonyPride, SmooPower I will gladly take your spot. I am willing to move down the BLVD so to speak. Though the spot I have in front of Clements ain't bad at all.
Class of '91
It appears to me that they are "goaling" to get the price to $1,000. They are doing it in increments that they believe the people will tolerate and it appears so far that they are correct. I would imagine within the next year or two when they reach their prospective goal, the prices will stablize. Hopefully that will time out with our program being on the upswing.

I think they are aiming for alot higher than that. I do not agree with running off fans who have had those spaces when you could not give them away. Oh well that sports..
Jerry wants a stadium full of corporate types having wine and cheese...oooh fun
There is no where I'd rather be on a gameday. As for excitement, we are often the first ones there...even on a Tuesday!
None of the BLVD spot holders are free loaders. When you factor in season tickets, mandatory Mustang Club donation, and now increased parking, you're talking more than $2000 for four tickets to see a 1-11 team. This is sports. Performance should drive prices, not the other way around. It's just sad because there will be a level at which the longtime loyal hardworking fans will be priced out of the game altogether. Where does it end? $1000 a season? $5000 a season? What they fail to realize is that some people have to work for a living. Not everyone is a Hunt, Ford, Loyd or Dedman. Oh well, maybe I'll win the lottery some day so I don't have to worry about it.
I complained last year about this, and you know what, I still paid for my two spots. I complained again this year when they called me about tickets, and after a day of anger, I wrote the check again. They claimed the waiting list is now in excess of 100. I agree completely if you miss more than 1 game you should loss your spot.
But to really show them who is boss, I picked up another 2 season tickets (total of eight) and increased my pledge to the Mustang Club ![]() I agree completely that they are headed for $1K and beyond, I just hope my promotions at work stay at the same pace.
Regis, I'm sick of the money complaining. If you have to work then work. You can always come hang out with me and the boys by Dallas Hall. I'll set you up with a hotdog and all the keystone you can drink. It's on me man. From one Pony to another. Pony Love man.
haha he had to be going about 40 And Norris gave me a MIC my freshman year =(
I would agree with you when it comes to ticket prices, but parking spots unfortunately are a hot commodity these days. The Blvd is the place to be for gameday, and you can't blame them for hiking up the prices if the demand now far outweighs supply. The only way to alleviate the demand is to increase price - it's simply economics, and those of us who get pinched on it will complain while others will happily pay for their new spot on the Blvd. My parking price in the Westcott lot right next to the stadium went from $100 to $150 and I didn't blink an eye. If you don't want to pay several hundred dollars to be on the Blvd, you do have a choice - you can get a spot right next to me in Westcott (assuming it's not already full).
he gave me two ![]() ![]() WEST DIVISION CHAMPS 2010
Just wondering......Can someone please give me a brief history of the tradition of the Blvd on game days? Do the players parents participate? Thanks

Re: Just wondering......
I am sure that Special Delivery will post pictures and "school" you on the Boulevard. It is a wonderful experience and if you are coming to see Evan play please stop by the BUS Stop and Special Delivery tent and introduce yourself. Parents are definately welcome. Re: Just wondering......
I've run into a couple players' parents, but I usually don't get to boulevard enough to know the 'norm'. It's hard to be normal on the 'vard in uniform without a beer in hand. Meanwhile, the 'vard is pretty much a normal tailgate, beers and food all around, in a really awesome setting. Tons of food, tons of people, tons of chicks (not any concern to you ![]() Sir, shooting-star, sir.
Frosh 2005 (TEN YEARS AGO!?!) The original Heavy Metal.
Thanks......Sounds like lots of fun. You will see us there.
