Same here when I noticed the number of legs on the same dog also changed every day.

Do you remember the fried pies she used to make? Man those were good. Get a double double bag of chips & fried apple pie, after that nothing could go wrong that day.......

Any body found a good replacement for Rose's?

Chris Ward (James Beard award winner and SMU alum) of The Mercury says it's the best burger he ever had.

I always liked that Rose had her granddaughters delivering the burgers on that greasy wax paper to your table. Wonder what happened to the flattop burner she used? Gotta have some great flavor on that thing...

What no love for the Waterhole where I used to work-right next door? Chris Ward used to be a regular at Stan's Blue Note too-pretty good friend. The Mercury is outstanding-highly recommended-even if it is in a shopping center.

The one on NW Hwy is still there and great, or you can get the same thing from Jake's, which, I believe, is owned by his son.
